Standardized, modular carbon capture plant

Just Catch™ Design

SLB Capturi offers standardized carbon capture plants named Just Catch™, for delivery of pure CO₂ for various applications. The plants are easy to fabricate, transport, install and operate. Just Catch™ plants include several other advantages, such as compact design, short delivery time and low cost. The first contract is signed for delivery in the Netherlands. Just Catch™ plants are offered as a turnkey solution.

Models

Just Catch™ can at present be delivered with capacities of 40,000, 100,000 and 400,000 tonnes of CO₂ per year. The standard CO₂ delivery is in gas form higher than 99.9 percent purity. Different CO₂ qualities can be provided to meet the specifications of the customer. The plants are CE marked use recognized industrial standards.

Environment

SLB Capturi’s carbon capture plants are delivered as a complete packages. The solution is fitted with the Advanced Carbon Capture™ process providing differentiating environmental performance. Utilizing SLB Capturi’s solvents and key features such as the patented Anti-Mist system provides leading environmental performance.

Proven

SLB Capturi has since the 90’s been a frontrunner within carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS). From Aker group’s first 1996 delivery with the Sleipner project to when we today are delivering one Just Catch™ 100 plant for Twence in the Netherlands and five Just Catch™ 100 plants for Ørsted in Denmark.

Proprietary solvents

Our robust, high-performing solvents have been developed with a strong focus on achieving excellent HSE performance. Reducing emissions into air has been a key priority during the development. The solvents provide low solvent degradation which is associated with process benefits such as low solvent make-up, low emission of solvent degradation products, low demand for reclamation and low generation of reclaimer waste thereby saving significant operational costs. In addition, our solvents do not react with the iron (Fe) in the steel and consequently enable more economic selection of construction materials.
